Mansukh Laxman Mandaviya is the Minister of State for Ports, Shipping & Waterways (Independent Charge) and Chemicals & Fertilisers in Government of India. – A rare brand of politician who is both, erudite and popular with the masses. He holds a Post Graduate Degree in Political Science from Bhavnagar University. Starting his political career in the mid nineties, in a short span, has become a respected political leader of the masses.

Inspected the ongoing construction work of four laning of Babatpur Airport to Varanasi City Road (NH-56). Total length of the project is 17.250 km out of which 70% work has been completed. Also inspected the major structures of this highway – ROB cum Viaduct & Flyover.
Inaugurated a new Jan Aaushadhi Kendra in Varanasi under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aaushadhi Pariyojana. So far, more than 3000 such stores have been opened in the country to provide quality medicines at affordable price to all sections of society.
Renovated the progress of the multi-modal terminal under construction by Inland Waterways Authority of India at a cost of Rs. 169 crore under the World Bank Jal Marg Vikas Project in Ramnagar, Varanasi. This terminal will be ready within its stipulated time by November this year and will open new doors for development of this region.
Joined the inauguration function of the underpasses at the Signature Tower and Rajeev Chowk on NH-8 with Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar, CM (Haryana). These underpasses will reduce the traffic woes faced by the commuters on one of the busiest roads, Delhi-Gurugram Expressway.
Starting her career as a school teacher, she rose to the level of Chief Minister, Gujarat State. Felicitated Smt. Anandiben Patel on her appointment as Governor of Madhya Pradesh. She is a true example of women empowerment with extensive administrative and political experience.
