Media Briefing on Budget-2017 1st February, 2017

1. Attended Budget Presentation in Parliament. Congratulated the Hon’ble Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley ji on presenting an excellent Union Budget for the fiscal year 2017-18.

2. This budget is pro-poor, pro-farmers and development oriented. A good balance has been ensured of both Rural and Urban India

3. Development of Infrastructure in sectors like Roads, Rails, Shipping & Airports got a big boost in this budget.

4. Setting up of AIIMS in Gujarat & Jharkhand and revamping of 1.5 lakh Health Centres will provide better health services to people.
