• One Year Journey of Shri Mansukh Mandaviya

Sh. Narendra Modi led NDA Government has shown outstanding performance on all the fronts. It is a “Dream come true” for the citizens of the country. The team of dedicated leaders have joined hands to turn the “Thoughts into Reality” as a result of effective and transparent administration while taking care of the common men of the country. Indeed, India is changing now.

One such young, dedicated, upright and very hard working leader, Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, has completed one year of successful journey as Union Minister of State in Service of the Nation today.

Shri Mandaviya is highly meticulous, methodological and has put in relentless efforts in improving the work culture and performance of all the Ministries he is dealing with. The dedication and hard work of Sh. Mandaviya and his team throughout the last one year is now showing fruitful results of performance and delivery.

During his tenure of one year, Sh. Mandaviya has travelled for 273 days covering a distance of more than 2.5 lakh kms, visited 4 countries, 27 States and UTs, 36 different organization and subordinate offices and has covered 375 different places in the country. During this journey, he conducted 113 meetings in Delhi and 89 meetings outside Delhi to review the work and performance of different Ministries apart from attending different seminars, events and several programmes which sum up to 25 in Delhi and 161 outside Delhi. He has been a driving force for implementation of “Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana” which has seen a rapid increase in number of PMBJP stores from 347 to 1880 during last one year.

The Report Card of his one year’s performance is a clear reflection of his honesty, integrity and dedication towards the work in the best interests of the Nation. During his visits to different States, he met Governors, Chief Ministers, Ministers of the State Governments and various authorities of the respective Departments for effective implementation of the scheme/ programmes of his Ministries. He has transformed the redundant bureaucratic style of working into corporate functioning.

Sh. Mandaviya has been a dedicated supporter of the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”. He has led the Swachh Bharat Campaign in all his Ministries, subordinate offices and public sector undertakings under his administrative control and has also participated in many a cleanliness campaigns during his visit to different parts of the country.

Apart from this, he is a highly disciplined and dedicated Parliamentarian which is evident from the fact that during the period he has given 1180 written replies, laid 614 papers, attended 58 starred questions and spoke in the Parliament on various issues on several occasions. During this one year he received more than 2500 files from all the five Departments and cleared all of them without any delay.

In spite of his highly demanding professional schedule, he never forgets to meet one and all who come to see him. During last one year, he has attended 12 Central Ministers, 19 Hon’ble Members of Parliament, 11 Minister of different State Governments, 19 MLAs and 12,392 other visitors. The way he is working has given hope and belief to the citizens of India that this Government is absolutely working for the poor, farmers, youth and women for overall development of the Nation.
