With a combined outlay of ₹36,441 crore for the Khelo India Scheme and enhanced assistance to National Sports Federations, the initiative lays out a comprehensive 10-year roadmap to strengthen grassroots sports, nurture sporting excellence and integrate sports with education through initiatives such as Khelo India Feeder Schools (KIFS), Khelo India Utkrishta Vidyalayas (KIUV) and the Emerging Khelo India Athletes (E-KIA) programme.
