Speaking at the Chintan Shivir of Youth Affairs and Sports Ministers held in Srinagar on April 24, 2026, he highlighted the importance of involving young people in policy-making and governance processes. Under the theme “Samvaad Se Samadhaan,” the three-day deliberation focused on strengthening youth engagement frameworks through initiatives like MY Bharat, promoting grassroots participation, and ensuring that youth voices contribute meaningfully to decision-making. The minister also underlined that leveraging India’s demographic dividend through inclusive and participatory approaches is key to achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
